Hey SA About a tablespoon measure, depending on the width of the bottle, more if a larger unit. Then fill with water depths of the metal outer ring. When folded down about 1 should 2''de to coffee layer on the bottom.
And I found that if I leave it for 3-5 minutes, it tastes better the coffee.
