I do not know Liddy and I doubt he would do something. It was and remains one of the most brutal criminals of the era of Watergate.

Can a presidential candidate justify a long friendly relationship with someone who has committed in the 1970s, extolled violence and crimes in the name of a radical ideology - and who has never shown remorse or admitted error? If the candidate is in question, Barack Obama, John McCain said no. But if the candidate in question is John McCain, not so sure.

While McCain is "association" and relationship with convicted Watergate burglar and terrorism in Canada, G. Gordon Liddy might suggest that is the case when the standards are set by the McCain campaign.
In 1998, Liddy gave a fundraiser in his home in Scottsdale, Arizona, back in the campaign of Senator McCain - that was recently posed for two photos together, and, in May 2007 as a presidential candidate Sen. John McCain, Liddy radio show called syndicated. Inexplicably, McCain heaped PRAISE on the values of the host country. During the debate, McCain said he was "proud" of Liddy, and praised "Liddy compliance with the principles and philosophies that keep our great nation."
